ABOUT

Have you ever wished you could fly? But owning a plane is too expensive and growing wings is impossible no matter how many Red Bulls you consume. Riding a motorcycle is the closest you can come to flying without leaving the ground. My name is Rebecca, and this is my story of my first and favorite motorcycle.
When I was younger, my dad gave me the huge favor of making me change my own oil, brakes, and tires on my old beater, hand-me-down car. At the time, I thought that this was ridiculous, that no other dad makes their daughter do all this stuff to her car. These experiences taught me the confidence and desire to take on bigger challenges.
In 2012, my husband convinced me to consider getting a motorcycle because I hated riding on back of his cramped 400cc motorcycle. After a month of looking I decided to get one that would give me a challenge; so I settled on the same model as my husbands, but 2 years older: 1975 KZ400. When I bought this motorcycle, it was in no condition to be ridden and was far from passing a safety inspection.
This website will go into depth of the entire rebuild process, my decision on becoming a motorcycle driver, and how taking on a project with a friend or spouse can strengthen your relationship.
